How Chubbies Started in Preveza | The Beginning

Some brands start with a business plan.
Chubbies started with an idea.
Back in 2021, in the coastal town of Preveza, the goal was simple:prepare honest food in front of people, using real ingredients and real recipes.
From the very first day, sandwiches were part of the menu.Fresh vegetables were displayed openly.
Food was prepared in front of customers.Every ingredient had a purpose.
There were no shortcuts, no industrial processes and no complicated concepts.
Just preparation, cooking and service.
As the project grew, the focus became clearer:handmade meats, slow-cooked cuts, carefully selected ingredients and sandwiches built around flavour rather than trends.
The journey continued through thousands of orders, new recipes, long days and constant experimentation.
In December 2024, Chubbies moved from Preveza to Ioannina.
The city changed.
The philosophy didn't.
Today, Chubbies and Rice & Nice continue to follow the same principles that shaped the first days of the project:
Quality ingredients.
Daily preparation.
Real recipes.
No shortcuts.
Different products.
Same standards.
