A Handmade Food Project That Started in Preveza
What began as a small handmade food project in Preveza was built around one simple idea: make real food from real ingredients.
Instead of relying on industrial cold cuts, Chubbies developed its own handmade meats, slow-cooked recipes and authentic flavours prepared daily in its own kitchen.
Fresh vegetables, open preparation and attention to detail quickly became part of the Chubbies identity.
Recognized by Gastronomos
Gastronomos, one of Greece's most respected gastronomy publications, featured Chubbies for its unique approach to handmade street food.
The feature highlighted the philosophy behind the brand, where sandwiches are created around handcrafted meats, authentic recipes and genuine cooking rather than mass-produced ingredients.
Being featured by Gastronomos became an important milestone in the Chubbies story.
Handmade Meats Before They Became a Trend
Long before handmade meats became popular, Chubbies had already invested in producing its own recipes.
Every product is developed with patience, slow cooking and carefully selected ingredients.
The goal has never been simply to make another sandwich.

Today that same philosophy continues in Ioannina.
Signature creations like Carbonato, together with Rice & Nice bowls, continue the original vision that started years earlier in Preveza.
